Presenter Page

We're so excited to host you!

Welcome to the presenters page! Here you will find information about the spaces the conference will be in and helpful tips as you prepare to present at the ISME CMA Pre-Conference.

On this document, you will find photos and information on each room, including tech features and tips to help you prepare for your presentations.

First time presenting at a conference? See these orientation slides for key information and helpful tips.

Come prepared!

The BEST way to get your visuals to the conference is to bring your own device!

  • Check if your device has a HDMI port. If you do not have an HDMI port, you may need to bring an adapter.

Other options include:

  • Use a USB stick (USB-A)
    • Sometimes slides may appear altered due to differences in screen sizes and powerpoint versions
  • Use on online platform with an easily shareable link/log-in
    • Please check in with the volunteer for your room before the start of your session
Hoping to use a remote to click through your slides? Please plan to bring your own presentation clicker/remote.

Share in our Community Resource Room (AA304)

Have something you would like to share or sell at the conference? Let us know by completing this form. This space is where refreshments and posters will be throughout the conference so there will be lots of foot traffic!

In need of accessibility accommodations?

We want to make your time at the CMA Pre-Conference as smooth as possible. Each session will have an assigned volunteer to assist with any accomodations that may come up during the event. Please email the organizers if you have any specific accommodation needs.

Please also check out some spaces that will be available throughout the conference for decompression:

Decompression Space (AA320): a quiet, low-stimulation space to rest and recharge at your own pace.

BIPOC Lounge (AA319): a dedicated space for Black, Indigenous, and people of colour.
